After taking Tiki out for a very long walk, I had supposed that she went potty.
After arriving home I put Tiki in the crate and also put Critter's food dish out.I decided to go to Starbucks. Being watchful of the time, I checked my watch frequently. I was only at Starbucks for an hour.
To my knowledge, Tiki hadn't eaten anything yet so I wasn't expecting any accidents nor did I expect to be greeted at the door by a happy jumping Tiki.
It was at that point, I noticed my jacket on the floor and was amazed that Tiki had managed to get out of the crate. I didn't realize that I had an escape artist in my family! The next surprise for me was that I had stepped on the mat that had the results of consuming some of the cat's food.
Now that I have cleaned the tractor wheel like soles of my boots and finished washing the deodorizing the mat, I contemplate what could happen tomorrow when I have to be absent from my home.
How did she get out of the crate? Is it possible that it wasn't closed properly? Bichons are clever little dogs, but haven't had a crate escaper yet. On the bright side it could have been on your bed, sofa etc. :-)
ReplyDeleteDogs will eat anything at anytime, put the cat's bowl out of the way. Look around your home, is there anything a kid will get into trouble with? And check the lock on the crate. It's obvious easy to open.
